Thirty volunteers participated on Christmas celebration in Karmøy

We have been waiting for the traditional Christmas party,(julbord) of Karmøy Red Cross. Lesotho is a christian country, and in some parts of Norway such as Karmøy Christmas is celebrated in a christian tradition. however, we celebrate Christmas  quite differently. In Lesotho we normally have a Christmas party during the day of work. We play loud music, and eat delicious food like braai(grill) meat; we also travel to the interesting places to have fun. But this time in Karmøy; we dress up nicely, we had Norwegian Christmas food and  there were lots of Christmas decorations inside and outside.

We also had an opportunity to play present game, (pakkeleken) .

Finally the award ceremony started and five youth volunteers were given presents and  certificates  related to the following; Most engaged youth volunteer, Clown of the year, Joy of the year, Blond of the year, and  the nag cup of the year.
