Taco is by far the most popular dinner on Friday in Norway VG study in 2012. Taco - a traditional Mexican dish consisting of a corn or wheat tortilla folded around a filling. Fillings can include; beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables and cheese. We had a tacos evening with Skedsmo kompis group and the most interesting aspect was that we had new members to welcome in the group. We played games, listened to music and it turned out to be a delightful evening with the group.

From where I come from, we boil sweet poatoes and eat them with tea. It is a very common option for breakfast since it is easy to make and of course, relatively economical. A colleague once invited us to his house for dinner here in Norway. He made delicious baked sweet potatoes stuffed with onions, mushrooms, sour cream and other things inside and it turned out to be one of the sweetest things I have ever tasted. I was really curious and look forward to when I’ll try making it myself.

The other day we had a Kompis evening with Asker Red Cross Youth group and it turned out we were going to make baked potato chips. We started off by peeling sweet potatoes, then came the bit that surprised us together with the two representatives from our National society who had come to visit and see our work. One of the youths who was showing us the process sprinkled some oil onto the chips and thereafter put them in oven to bake for some time. The result was fantastic: the baked chips were super delicious. I now bet that these are not the only ways to make sweet potatoes. There are endless possibilities as to how one can make and enjoy sweet potatoes. Explore:)
