Swahili Christmas greeting

We are popping by the blog one last time before the end of the year festivities to wish you all a very happy holiday season.

This Christmas holiday will be nontraditional in our case, as we are not travelling back to Norway to be with our families. When celebrating Christmas in Norway, we tend to always do the same things and mainly with our families. Our traditions include eating typical food, decorating the Christmas tree, watching the same movies we watch every year, and maybe going on the occasional ski trip.

Here are some photos showing what some of these activities might look like:

This year, Christmas looks quite different, as the white snow is being swapped for the white, sandy beaches of Kenya and Tanzania. We feel very lucky and excited to experience a new Christmas this year.

Wishing you all a happy holiday,

Elfi and Ingrid
