Some youths having Nepali Dal Bhat (Rice and Pulses)

Nepal, Nepali food, culture and Nepali  music, summary of what we had on the event.

On Tuesday evening we had Nepali Night in Telemark Red Cross Office. It was actually very nice  to interact with guest participants about our culture, nation, ourselves and our experience in Red Cross, back in our home national society. We were so glad to have good number of people in the event though it is an starting phase of our 9 month mission :) as youth delegates in here.

Some cultural difference we noticed.

 1)We always serve warm food

2)It is never a surprise for us to see many people out in the street

3)Cars don't stop by so politely when we are crossing the road :)

4)We felt there are no horns in Norwegian vehicles

We invited almost all youths, colleagues and friends who we came to know after we are here. And we strongly felt that one of the important goal of our exchange program that we are going to embrace so often would certainly be, the exchange of our cultures, knowledge and experience from each other.
